## English whole-pad meaning

A gopī says to another, “Oh friend! He, who wraps a black-blanket around His body, has bought me without a price. One day, I was going to sell the curd. On the way, that Naughty one said to me one odd thing. Calling me out, He said, ‘Oh sakhi! Just listen. I have to tell one very important thing to you.’ I asked what it was and He said, ‘Last night I dreamt that you have become Mine and I have become yours.’ I rebuked Him saying, ‘Oh shameless, naughty Flirt! Get out of my way!’ At this, He said, ‘Even you are equally shameless to abuse Me, your Beloved, by name.’ I again scolded Him saying, ‘Listen with open ears. You say the same things to everyone. Your words are absolutely worthless.’ He then said, ‘You have become Mine already. Now it is up to you whether you accept Me as your own or not.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, (the gopī adds) “Upon hearing these loving words of Shyāmasundara, I totally surrendered myself unto Him.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
