## English whole-pad meaning

A virahiṇī says to her intimate friend, “Oh friend! These eyes never experienced the happiness of seeing because as soon as they look at Shyāmasundara whose divine body is effulgent like the new clouds, they are filled with tears, as a consequence of which they become unable to see Shyāmasundara. And in separation from Shyāmasundara, the memory of Him makes the eyes filled with tears. Therefore, these eyes never get the happiness of seeing the Beloved. Apart from this, even the wisdom of Brahmā, the Creator, did not work, who produced one more obstacle in the way of meeting the Beloved by making the eye-lids over the eyes.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh sakhi! Why do you get involved with this trouble? You should always experience the bliss of your Beloved’s sweet-meeting by keeping Him in the room of your eyes and closing the door of the eyelids.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
