## English whole-pad meaning

A virahiṇī, addressing her intimate friend says, “Oh sakhi! My condition has become like that of a blind person. Just as a blind man sees nothing and the whole world is full of darkness and darkness alone for him, in the same way, even to me, the whole world appears to be black, pervaded with black Shyāmasundara. Oh sakhi! To whom, how, and what should I say? Who can understand the innermost feelings of my heart? Actually, the whole world is crazy itself, but looking at me, it says, ‘Look, look, the crazy woman has come!” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “What the world says is right. When even after trying innumerable means, a premikā remains unable to hide her love, her condition appears to be like that of a lunatic. Therefore, if the world declares her to be insane, there is nothing wrong in it.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
