## English whole-pad meaning

A virahiṇī says, “Oh sakhi! I am unable to see anything with these eyes now. Wherever I flutter my glance, I see nothing but Shyāmasundara’s blackish, bewitchingly beautiful face. My eyes constantly shed tears, sometimes resulting from the bliss of sweet union and at other times caused by the agony of separation. But even after thus continuously shedding tears in both ways, I failed to quench the fire of separation even in the least. Oh sakhi! The material opulence up to the realm of Brahmā, liberation and even the happiness of Baikuṇṭha etc. do not attract my mind even in a dream.” Hearing this, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī commented, “Oh sakhi! (It is but natural because) who will be tempted towards a ghuṁghachī after attaining a pārasa-gem?”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
