## English whole-pad meaning

A Braja-gopī says, “Oh sakhi! Since the moment I saw Shyāmasundara, tears flow from my eyes continuously like the constant showers of sāwana. Shyāmasundara has gone away stealing my heart and igniting the fire of separation. Oh sakhi! As my own mind and intellect do not work at all, you tell me one thing. What I am unable to understand is, that the war was between the eyes, how then, oh God, was the mind stolen?” The sakhī replied, “Oh sakhi! Listen. The mind had gone there as a judge to resolve the battle between the eyes but,” in the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “what to say of disentangling the entanglement of the eyes, the mind itself was forcibly caught in the trap.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
