## English whole-pad meaning

A virahiṇī says to her intimate friend, “Oh sakhi! You tell me, how can I possess steadfastness? The nights that used to be spent like a moment in sweet talks with Shyāmasundara before, have now become so agonizingly slow that it is very hard to spend even one moment. Like Draupadī’s sari, the night keeps on prolonging itself. Before, even few tears in my eyes used to make the Beloved restless, now those very eyes shed continuous stream of tears.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Even one moment of whose going away from my sight used to give me stabbing pain in the heart, today about that same Shyāmasundara, I hear only the story that there used to be a blue-complexioned boy in Braja, whose name was Shyāmasundara.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
