## English whole-pad meaning

A virahiṇī says, “Oh sakhi! Look, even the rainy season has arrived but the Beloved has not come. Oh sakhi! This Rain is eternally united with her beloved, the Dark Cloud that is why she is putting on airs. Look sakhi! On the pretext of the thundering of clouds, she seems to be laughing uproariously feeling intoxicated with the joy of meeting her beloved. The flashes of lightning are, as if the waves of her beloved’s love in her heart. On the pretext of the rainfall, she appears to be shedding tears of happiness caused by her beloved’s sweet union.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh sakhi! She also seems to be singing the attributes of her beloved, the black clouds, through different sounds of frogs.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
