## English whole-pad meaning

A virahiṇī says, “Oh sakhi! These eyes have usurped the peace of my mind. Since the moment I saw Shyāmasundara and His love-laden look, I have become oblivious of my body, mind, wealth and dear ones. Oh sakhi! I had not realized this before. Now, in a state of restlessness, sometimes I sit, sometimes I stand up, and sometimes run hither and thither, but nothing brings me any peace. Even worthless sleep has left me alone. I want and try unceasingly to forget Shyāmasundara’s fascinating form, but do not succeed in forgetting Him even for a moment.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the virahiṇī yearningly says, “Oh sakhi! Now, when will I meet beloved Shyāmasundara, the giver of bliss and destroyer of grief?”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
