## English whole-pad meaning

(Sakhīs are exchanging their views with one another at the time of Shyāmasundara’s departure to Mathurā.) One sakhī says, “Oh sakhi! Who is actually cruel, Akrūra or Brahmā?” The sakhī replied, “The cruelty of Akrūra is clearly obvious. See, we are beseeching him with folded hands, shedding tears from our eyes; still he neither looks towards us nor speaks a word. He wants to make all of us blind by taking Shyāmasundara away from us.” Another sakhī said, “Oh sakhi! All individual souls are controlled by the creator. It is actually he who is the enemy of our suhāga.” In the meanwhile, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī said, “Oh sakhīs! Shyāmasundara is the all-powerful God. He is not under the control of Brahmā; instead, Brahmā is in His control. Therefore, Akrūra and Brahmā both are blameless. Your beloved Shyāmasundara Himself is the reason behind whatever is happening.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
