## English whole-pad meaning

One sakhī, teasing Bhagwan Kṛishṇa, says to Him, “Oh Beloved! Tell me, who made You rasika? When were You called the captivator of even the god of beauty, Kāmadeva, on the strength of Your infinite beauty in Your previous incarnation as a pig? When in Your incarnation as a fish, did You, living in the water itself, steal the clothes of the gopīs? When did You play captivating melodies on Your flute, curving Your body at three places, in Your incarnation as a tortoise? When did You taste the bliss of mahārāsa with gopīs in Your incarnations as Rāma and Vāmana? When did You experience the bliss of pleasing a māninī gopī or of doing māna Yourself in Your incarnation as Nṛisiṁha?” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī teases Shyāmasundara, “It is only in this present incarnation of Kṛishṇa, that even You started regarding Yourself as a rasika, after attaining some divine love-bliss by Kishorī Jī’s grace. In Your previous incarnations, what else did You do except destroying demons, protecting saints and establishing religion?”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
