## English whole-pad meaning

Maidens of Braja say to Uddhava, “Oh Uddhava! We, the maidens of Braja, are very innocent. Your friend, Shyāmasundara is a swindler who has swindled us out of our body, heart, soul and everything, and took them with Him. We are anyhow maintaining this lifeless body in the hope that the lord of our life, Shyāmasundara will surely come one day. But Uddhava! Listen carefully. Just as even after making innumerable efforts, speech and its meaning cannot be separated, in the same way, Shyāmasundara, who pervades our entire being, is also absolutely inseparable from us. Therefore, do not consider us to be separated from Shyāmasundara.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh Uddhava! You cannot understand these strange matters of love. Shyāmasundara alone apprehends them.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
