## English whole-pad meaning

The gopīs of Braja, separated from their beloved Shrī Kṛishṇa, are sarcastically saying to Uddhava, “Oh Uddhava! Blessed is that knowledge of yours which is making you utter such words of ignorance. The gyānīs always say, ‘Everything is Brahma’, but you are a strange gyānī to call all of us ignorant. How is it that you have come to this mission of benefiting others by your so-called ‘knowledge’ when you appear to be ignorant even of the qualifications which are to be fulfilled in order to enter the path of knowledge? How can you expect us to meditate on Brahma when Shyāmasundara has taken our mind with Him? You can give your conniving wisdom to Shyāmasundara, who is the treasure-house of conceit and deceit.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī advises Uddhava, “This is Braja; you cannot fool anyone here. So I would suggest that you take your business elsewhere.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
