## English whole-pad meaning

The maidens of Braja, who were incarnations of the Vedic mantras and were burning in the fire of separation from Bhagwan Kṛishṇa, say to Uddhava, “Oh Uddhava! You are very ignorant. You have come to give knowledge to us, who are the incarnations of the Vedic mantras themselves. You don’t know even this that we ourselves are the source of knowledge. Just tell us what is known, knowable and knowledge. The implication is that the knower of Brahma himself is Brahma and the personality whom he has to know is also Brahma and the knowledge through which he has to know is also Brahma, according to what you preach. Oh Uddhava! You are the one who see Brahma everywhere; how then, do you have this feeling that we are ignorant? You don’t know that even the leaders of the greatest men of wisdom, like Sanaka, etc., who are self-realized and liberated, live in Braja in the form of trees and creepers, forgetting their trance of Absolute Brahma, in order to be blessed with the dust of Braja.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh Uddhava! The knowledge you have come to give us is, in fact, very essential for Shyāmasundara who loves Kubjā more than His life.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
