## English whole-pad meaning

Sending their message to Shyāmasundara through Uddhava, gopīs state, “Oh Uddhava! Tell our beloved Shyāmasundara that the type of love which He has shown towards us is not heard anywhere. Only three types of love were popular till now. The first type of love is reciprocal. This is also called selfish love. The second type of love is that in which one loves another without being loved in return. This is the love of everyone’s parents towards their newborn baby. And in the third category come those who remain neutral towards both - those who love them and those who don’t. Such love-less heart is of those who are totally engrossed in their soul (ātmārāmas), those who are absolutely contented (āptakāmas), betrayers of their spiritual master, and ungrateful people.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the gopīs state, “Uddhava! Tell Shyāmasundara that so far as His love is concerned, it is distinct from all the afore-mentioned three types of love. Everything He does is intricate.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
