## English whole-pad meaning

Seeing the lovelorn condition of a virahiṇī, the poet, addressing his mind, says (in jest), “Oh my mind! Always avoid the company of Shyāmasundara. I am saying for your own good. Never enter the path of love even by mistake; otherwise, entrapped by that tricky Shyāmasundara, you will experience great sorrows. Oh my mind! If you don’t listen to me, you will burn in the fire of separation along with the senses, craving for their respective objects, and will be swept by the infinite ocean of love, destroying all the proprieties of the Vedas and the world.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, trying to make his mind understand, adds, “We are worldly people, so save our prestige, i.e. if you are trapped in the snare of Shyāmasundara’s love, we will no more remain worldly.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
