## English whole-pad meaning

The festival of Holī is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Vṛindāvana. Sakhīs and sakhās are spraying colour on each other with their pichakārīs, almost drenching each other with coloured water. Shrī Rādhā and Kṛishṇa are standing in the middle of the circle. They too, have coloured each other from head to toe. There is so much gulāla being thrown around that even the clouds seem to be coloured in red, and so are the lanes of Braja. There is such a tough tussle going on between the sakhās and the sakhīs that their clothes and ornaments are all disarrayed. Then, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī announces, “The evening has approached, hence the play of Holī should be stopped now. It will be resumed tomorrow at the same time at this very place.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
