## English whole-pad meaning

Launching a love-laden complaint against Shyāmasundara to her friend, a maiden of Braja says, “Somebody stop Shyāmasundara from behaving unbecomingly with me by force. This Naughty One rubs the very cheeks of the maidens of Braja on the pretext of applying gulāla on them. Sometimes He breaks their pearl-chains, and sometimes their pitchers. He is so shameless that on being abused, He says, ‘Oh Beloved! Revile Me again. You and I make an excellent pair!’ Moreover, when I complain about Him to Mother Yashodā, oh God!, she says, ‘You girls are intoxicated with the pride of youth.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to the gopī, “Who will believe in what you say when Shyāmasundara is only five-year-old at present?”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
