## English whole-pad meaning

(One sakhī recounts to another her first sweet encounter with beloved Shyāmasundara.) Oh sakhi! Today I was sold to beloved Shyāmasundara forever. I was intoxicated with the love of my Beloved after drinking the invaluable, sweet love-wine without paying any price for it. Finding me drunk with the sweetness of my Beloved’s beauty, people call me mad. Oh sakhi! Every fibre of my being is filled with the nectarean bliss of Shyāmasundara. I have become completely unconscious of my body. I have thrown away even the sense of worldly propriety, the honour of ancestry, and the injunctions of the Vedas like a blade of grass. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī advises himself, “You should also drink this nectar of divine love-bliss. Stop being a slave to your mind forever.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
