## English whole-pad meaning

A maiden of Braja relates her first meeting with beloved Shyāmasundara to her intimate friend – Oh sakhi! Manamohana’s sweet smile has captivated me. One day that son of Nanda was singing the attributes of the daughter of Vṛishabhānu, Shrī Rādhā in the melodies of His flute, standing inside creeper-groves. Lost in the music of the flute, I suddenly saw Kānha’s smile. When the ears heard that enchanting music, even the soul became oblivious of itself. Now my ears and eyes yearn for that same melodious music and that same nectarean smile respectively. In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “As a result of the fight between the ears and the eyes, the soul wants to leave the body forever. Therefore, Oh life of my life, Shyāmasundara! Come and bless me with Your enlivening association again.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
