## English whole-pad meaning

A gopī is describing her first meeting with Shyāmasundara to her friend, “Oh sakhi! Today, I was going towards Vṛindāvana to sell my curd when all of a sudden I saw dear Shyāmasundara on the way, and my eyes met His. Oh sakhi! How can I describe the ineffable beauty of His face? That ineffable beauty could only be felt! It defies all descriptions. It seemed as if it was made of the nectar extracted from the essence of beauty itself. I sacrificed my mind, body and soul on that beauty and became His forever. He repeatedly called me ‘My beloved!’ Hearing this I became inebriated with love.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh sakhi! Why are you getting so engrossed in this happiness? That deceitful son of Nanda has spoiled every chance of a peaceful life here as well as hereafter because, from now on, you will constantly yearn and long for the sweet reunion with Him.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
