## English whole-pad meaning

Kishorī Jī teasingly says to Shyāmasundara who is braiding and decorating Her hair: Oh Shyāmasundara! You have put the name of rasikas to shame. You tend the cows in the forest with illiterate cowherd boys all day; how then can You know the delicate ways of love? You are just entangling My hair in the name of braiding. Which guru has taught You this unique art of braiding hair? Now stop it and sit at a distance from Me, otherwise if My friends see it, they will laugh at Both of Us. I like loose hair. When You decorate My hair with flowers, it looks as if somebody is putting the flowers on the image of Shiva Jī as an offering. Again, You fan Me so fast, as if some windstorm has set in; consequently, all those flowers fall down. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī teasingly says to Shyāmasundara, “It is really strange that even someone as illiterate as You are, claims to be the crest-jewel of the rasikas. Blessed are You and blessed is our Kishorī Jī, who is coping with You.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
