## English whole-pad meaning

The adolescent son of Nanda, Shrī Kṛishṇa is dancing with the adolescent daughter of King Vṛishabhānu, Shrī Rādhā. They are in the centre of the circle surrounded by thousands of sakhīs like Lalitā etc. Better than one another in the art of singing, the expert maidens of Braja are vocalizing various ragas feeling inebriated with love. Various types of musical instruments are being played and the jingling sound of the bracelets, kiṅkiṇīs and anklets adorning the bodies of the dancing maidens is adding an extra charm to the music. All of them are dancing saying, ‘Tā thei tā thei’, twisting their limbs according to the various moods of the dance. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Although Shyāmasundara is taking sweet augmentations (ālāpas), yet the sweetness of Kishorī Jī’s grace-notes (tānas) is something indescribable.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
