## English whole-pad meaning

An innocent sakhī, addressing Shyāmasundara asks, “How can You be God? Like a man who is attached to sensual pleasures, You love other men’s wives. Thus, although on the one hand, You have preached and praised the religion of fidelity to a husband, on the other hand, You Yourself keep on destroying it. When the Supreme God, who is knowable through the Vedas, Himself does not follow the dictates of the Vedas, who else, then, can be expected to do so?” Shyāmasundara replied, “The religion of fidelity to a husband can be defined as being exclusively devoted to worldly husbands, which is also called physical religion. It results in the attainment of transient heaven. Whereas,” adds Shyāmasundara, in the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “exclusive love for the Supreme husband, God, alone is Supreme religion which results in the attainment of Supreme happiness or the divine abode, Goloka, for endless time.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
