## English whole-pad meaning

Sitting in the lap of Mother Yashodā, baby Kṛishṇa complains to her about the maidens of Braja lispingly. With great affection, He says to her, “Oh Mother! Listen to what the truth is. These maidens of Braja have no equal in the three worlds. They all smilingly ask Me to marry them. And Maiyā! When I tell them, ‘Let Me take My mother’s permission first’, they stop Me from asking you, threatening Me with their forefinger. Again, holding My hand, they state, ‘Say ‘yes’ for marrying us otherwise, fabricating false stories about You to Mother Yashodā, we will have You tied with a mortar’. This is the hidden secret behind all their complaints.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Shyāmasundara adds, “Mother! Get Me married soon, then, all this dispute will be solved automatically.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
