## English whole-pad meaning

Kishorī Jī says to Shyāmasundara who is asking for the alms of yoghurt, “I won’t give even a single drop of yoghurt to You. You don’t know that I am the daughter of King Vṛishabhānu. By giving You alms, I won’t taint the repute of our royal ancestry. Until now, You freely practised all sorts of mischievousness, but now I will teach You a good lesson. I will go to Your mother right now, and levelling exaggerated charges against You, will have You tied with a mortar. Even if You manage to escape from Mother Yashodā somehow, I will have You sent to Kansa’s prison with the help of My father, King Vṛishabhānu.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Shyāmasundara replies with a laugh, “Oh sakhi! Why are You showing Me the fear of the prison? I had fled from the prison the moment I was born. Therefore, playing the same trick, I will run away from there again.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
