## English whole-pad meaning

Shyāmasundara, concocting stories, says to Mother Yashodā, “Oh Maiyā! Let’s leave this Braja and go to some other place to live. These maidens of Braja have given us excessive mental torture, which has now become unbearable. They come to you everyday, complaining about Me without any rhyme or reason. Maiyā! Even seven persons against one are considered a great number in the world, then what to say of these maidens who are crores in number. Maiyā! You yourself tell Me that how can I, who am so small in height, reach their chhīkās hung so high.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “All these maidens are made of the same blood i.e. each one of them is worse than the others.” The sakhīs who were listening to these words of child Kṛishṇa started smiling, thinking, “See how beautifully (expertly) this little boy concocts stories!”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
