## English whole-pad meaning

The innocent little Kanhaiyā says to His Mother Yashodā, “Oh mother! Make My complexion fair, because all My friends call Me ‘black, black’ and afterwards, laugh, making fun of Me. Oh Maiyā! This is absolutely true that you have favoured Brother Balarāma by making his complexion fair, and have been unjust to Me by making Me dark.” Yashodā replied, “Listen, my son! Complexion of the body and other such things are not made by any mother. These things are made by God alone.” At this, baby Kṛishṇa immediately asked, “Maiyā! Where does that God live? Do tell Me right now, for I will go and beat Him badly.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, little Kṛishṇa threateningly added, “If you do not tell Me where He lives, I will never come to your lap again.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
