## English whole-pad meaning

Awaking the sleeping Shyāmasundara, Mother Yashodā says, “the day has dawned, wake up.” Mother Yashodā, swaying and bending in the intoxication of motherly-love, kisses her son’s face repeatedly and says, “Madhumaṅgala, Shrīdāmā, and other sakhās have been calling out for You by name, standing at the door. See, the calves are not drinking their mother’s milk, they are waiting for You.” Still, Shyāmasundara refuses to hear. Murmuring ‘Ūṁ Ūṁ’, He covers Himself even more with His yellow garment. The beauty of this scene is absolutely indescribable! Just then Balarāma said, “Oh Kanhaiyā! Listen with open ears, at least I am going to graze the cows.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “After hearing the words of Balarāma, Shyāmasundara immediately got up with a start.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
