## English whole-pad meaning

Waking up the sleeping Shyāmasundara, Mother Yashodā says, “Oh Kanhaiyā! It is morning already, now wake up.” Maiyā was exhausted after trying to wake up little Kanhaiyā by shaking Him repeatedly, still stubborn Kanhaiyā did not open His eyes. Then, Mother Yashodā repeatedly made Him sit supporting Him with her hands; but even then, Shyāmasundara was almost falling down. After some time, with His eyes still closed, He murmured with a lisp, “Where is morning yet?” Mother Yashodā replied, “Open Your eyes and see for Yourself.” Just then, brother Baladāū, shaking Him up a little vigorously said, “Oh Kanhaiyā! Wake up, wake up. The day has dawned long ago and You are still sleeping?” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, on being scolded by His brother Balarāma, little Kanhaiyā immediately got up with a start and clang to Mother Yashodā’s lap.

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
