## English whole-pad meaning

The personal God (Sākāra Brahma) is playing in Yashodā’s courtyard as Nandalāla. With butter on His face and a black mark on His little forehead (to ward off the effect of an evil eye), He is crawling on His knees. Sometimes, He crawls very slowly and sometimes tries to crawl very fast screeching with joy. Sometimes, seeing dust from a distance, He speedily goes there and puts it in His mouth. When His mother, Yashodā, sees Him doing so, she forcibly takes the dust out of His mouth. He starts crying, rolling on the ground, as if He has lost all He had. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Seeing Him thus rolling on the ground, Mother Yashodā, taking Him in her lap, tries to pacify Him in various ways, and kisses Him again and again, to make Him stop crying.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
