## English whole-pad meaning

One sakhī teasingly says to Bhagwan Kṛishṇa, “Oh Shyāmasundara! It is very good that You are black-complexioned. Had You been fair, all the maidens of Braja would have poisoned themselves in Your separation. It turned out to be very good that You had such a cruel nature and did not return from Dwārikā Purī. If, by chance, You had been soft-hearted, the whole of Braja would have seen its dissolution. It is very good that You are the one Beloved of innumerable souls. If You had only one beloved and loved her steadfastly, she would have died out of great joy.” Just then, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī said, “Everything else is alright, but oh God! What would have happened if You were a young maiden!”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
