## English whole-pad meaning

Many great saints racked their brains but this eternally wretched and obstinate individual soul could not understand. When even after well experiencing the bitter reality of the worldly objects, and admitting with his own mouth that there is nothing in this world but grief and grief alone, the individual soul could not be detached from them even in the least, then, how is it possible for it to understand those spiritual subjects which are beyond the reach of intellect and of whose happiness, it has no experience at all? Even though many great saints and God Himself came down on this earth for the welfare of the world, still the world remained as it was; only a few rare souls could be liberated from the shackles of the world (māyā). Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “The saints know all this very well, yet due to their nature of causeless mercy and doing good to others, they continue coming into this world, and leave no stone unturned to help the suffering humanity.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
