## English whole-pad meaning

Oh mind! This world is illusive like the flower of a silk-cotton tree. Even a parrot realizes its mistake when it hits the flower of the silk-cotton tree with its beak (thinking it to be a fruit), but on piercing it, finds nothing but cotton in it. But Oh mind! You are attached to the very same objects whose bitterness you are experiencing every moment. Oh mind! Like a tree that stands on the bank of a river, this human body is also momentary. Why are you putting on airs at the attainment of a wife, a son and wealth? Realize these three to be trident, piercing and giving you nothing but pain. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh mind! The key-note is that think continuously about Shyāmasundara with love, realizing Him to be your king, lord, friend, child and beloved.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
