## English whole-pad meaning

A gopī says to another, “Oh sakhi! Tell me the definition of love.” The other gopī asks, “Do you want to love someone?” The first gopī replied, “Oh friend! Although I had never loved someone nor did I know what the hell this love is, yesterday I saw Shyāmasundara all of a sudden and immediately He occupied my heart. Now every moment in His separation seems to me as long as a kalpa.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh sakhi! You did not practise love, it came to you involuntarily. This is called rāgātmikā bhakti in scriptures.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
