## English whole-pad meaning

A devotee addresses his mind thus – “Oh mind! It is no use getting detached from the world momentarily. First of all, you must surrender yourself to genuine saints with absolute faith, and then alone your darkness of ignorance will be dispelled. It is only by associating yourself continuously with the saints and obeying them to the letter that you will have attachment for the lotus-feet of God (Shrī Kṛishṇa). Then, yearning desperately for His sweet meeting, you will burn in the fire of separation before the divine meeting. Oh my mind! It is then that you, who are thus burnt in the fire of separation, will become absolutely purified and attain natural, pure, selfless divine love through the grace of the saints.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh mind! Then, through that natural love attained by the grace of the saints, you will become naturally detached from all worldly objects, and, being engrossed in the natural divine love-bliss, will be gratified eternally.” The meaning is that, if, by getting perturbed by worldly sorrows, you (the mind) will make someone a mendicant, the result can be extremely disastrous.

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
