## English whole-pad meaning

A devotee, teasing Bhagwan Kṛishṇa with love, says – “How can there exist any comparison between Rādhā and Giridhārī? While Rādhā is a princess, the daughter of King Vṛishabhānu, Shrī Kṛishṇa is merely a cowherd boy tending the cows of Gokula in the forests of Vṛindāvana. How can there be any equality between Kishorī Jī, on whose head shines the beautiful crown of gold studded with costly jewels, and Shrī Kṛishṇa, wearing an ordinary crown made of peacock-feathers? While different necklaces made of precious jewels and pearls beautify Kishorī Jī’s neck, all Shrī Kṛishṇa gets to wear is the chain of ghuṁghachī. Where is any comparison between Kishorī Jī with all the sixteen adornments and Shrī Kṛishṇa with a lathi in His hand and a black blanket on His shoulders? How can there ever be any comparison between Kishorī Jī, so simple and innocent, and cruel-hearted Shrī Kṛishṇa who is always intoxicated with gopīs’ love?” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “What to say more? On one side is the adorable and venerable Kishorī Jī and on the other is the worshipper of Her feet, Shrī Kṛishṇa. Therefore, the question of any comparison between Kishorī Jī and Shrī Kṛishṇa does not arise at all.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
