## English whole-pad meaning

I do the āratī of Bhānudulārī, whose abode is Barasānā. Shrī Kishorī Jī is seated on Her divine throne in the divine abode, Vṛindāvana. Strikingly beautiful maidens are gently fanning Her with a flywhisk on either side. Shyāmasundara, whose desires are fully satisfied, is serving Her lotus-feet. Fearlessly massaging Kishorī Jī’s lotus-feet, placed on His lap, Shyāmasundara is unutterably lost in ecstasy, just as a pauper who suddenly acquires a touchstone is thrilled with joy. A golden crown is adorning Her head and the beautiful chandrikā on it has an exquisite splendour of its own. The beauty of peacock-feathers seems pale before the unique beauty of the curly, black tresses of Kishorī Jī. The parting in Her hair is decorated with sindūra and strings of pearls. Shrī Kishorī Jī is the veritable sanjīvanī (a kind of elixir said to restore the dead to life) of the Supreme power, Shrī Kṛishṇa, the upholder of Mt. Govardhana. Karṇaphūlas are adorning Her ears and splendid is the beauty of Her besara. A stream of tender love seems to be flowing from Her eyes, seeing which, the brother of Balarāma, Shrī Kṛishṇa is feeling enraptured. The glimmering nose-ring adorning Her nose is moving gently. As She smiles, the beauty of Her shining teeth becomes visible. The brilliance of Her lovely face is extremely enticing and Her charming sweet smile is absolutely indescribable. Kishorī Jī is wearing chains of pearls and gem-studded necklaces. There is a charming black beauty spot on Her chin. Bhagwan Shaṅkara, Shukadeva and other self-realized souls are clapping their hands with joy, while the maidens of Braja are singing Her glories. Seeing Her Beloved Shyāmasundara serving Her feet, Kishorī Jī sometimes turns Her face aside and sometimes shyly turns just Her eyes away. Sometimes She also looks at Shyāmasundara with great love, which makes Shyāmasundara inebriated with joy and completely unconscious of Himself. Shrī Kishorī Jī is wearing a blue sari with a golden border on it. The colour of the blouse She is wearing is red. The glittering bracelets and bangles adorning Her wrists steal the heart. The beauty of Her ornamented kardhanī adorning Her slim waist is also extremely unique. She is wearing anklets around Her lotus-feet whose bottom line is decorated with mihāvara. Toe-rings studded with gems are adorned on Her toes. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “I perform the āratī of Kishorī Jī, the daughter of Kīrti, who is adorned from head to toe in the above-mentioned style.”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
