<a id="line-1"></a>We evaluate him by testing his knowledge in all possible  
<a id="line-2"></a>ways and only after he is found to have met our standards,  
<a id="line-3"></a>we accept him as one who is well-versed in the shastras.  
<a id="line-4"></a>Today we from this forum want to inform this huge  
<a id="line-5"></a>congregation of eminent scholars that we have recognized the  
<a id="line-6"></a>leading Saint Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and his God-given  
<a id="line-7"></a>genius. We advise you too to recognize him and take advantage  
<a id="line-8"></a>of his knowledge.  
<a id="line-9"></a>It is a great privilege for all of you that a Saint is in  
<a id="line-10"></a>your midst who can present before you the entire gamut of  
<a id="line-11"></a>divine literature. Kashi is the Gurukul of the whole world.  
<a id="line-12"></a>We the residents of Kashi are present here. Yesterday when  
<a id="line-13"></a>we heard the brilliant speech made by Shri Kripalu Ji, we  
<a id="line-14"></a>had to bow our heads in respect. We want that people in  
<a id="line-15"></a>general too should recognize Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and  
<a id="line-16"></a>listen to his easy to understand, delightful, self-experienced  
<a id="line-17"></a>and extraordinary teachings and follow them in their lives  
<a id="line-18"></a>practically and derive benefits from them.”  
<a id="line-19"></a>Thereafter, the Kashi Vidvat Parishat (a body of 500  
<a id="line-20"></a>top-ranking scriptural scholars) invited him to visit Kashi.  
<a id="line-21"></a>Some emotionally charged devotees were intrigued to  
<a id="line-22"></a>find a thirty four year-old youth amongst the elderly  
<a id="line-23"></a>scholars and articulated their feeling in the following  
<a id="line-24"></a>words:  
<a id="line-25"></a>udita udaya giri mañcha para raghuvara bala pataṅga  
<a id="line-26"></a>As the rising sun shines so did Ram in the assembly of great kings.  
<a id="line-27"></a>The extra-ordinary discourses delivered in classical  
<a id="line-28"></a>Sanskrit by Shri Maharaj Ji and his out of this world
