<a id="line-4"></a>kauna muṁha lai ke jāuṁ puni brajadhāmā

<a id="line-6"></a>the intention of killing Me, yet I granted her My divine  
<a id="line-7"></a>abode and the status of a mother. What can I possibly  
<a id="line-8"></a>give the Gopis of Braj, who love Me selflessly? How  
<a id="line-9"></a>can I go to Braj with nothing worthwhile to offer them?  
<a id="line-10"></a>I will remain eternally indebted to them.”
