Published English meaning — H.D. Swami Prakashanand Saraswati

(A devotee is naively talking to Krishn in his imagination and
says:) O Krishn, having heard that You are patit pavan,* (the
uplifter of all the fallen souls) I have been committing all kinds
of sins without any fear or hesitation. Now please tell me what
my fault is? Because, according to Your name, You are supposed
to redeem my sins.

Supplied English elucidation — see printed translator/elucidator credit (PDF2)

* Patit means ‘a fallen soul’ and pavan means to ‘purify’ and ‘uplift.’ People
say this term but they don’t believe in it. It is a fact that the moment a
person truly begins to believe that ‘he is a fallen soul’ and that ‘his Divine
beloved Krishn will surely shower His Grace upon him,’ his heart begins
to feel the Graciousness of Krishn.
