यद्यपि गुरु-गोविन्द दोउ इक, कह वेदादि पुकार।  
दोउन महँ कोउ मिलइ मिलइ तब, प्रेम-सुधा-रससार।  
तदपि रहस्य सुनहु मन! गुरु बिन, मिलइ न नंदकुमार।  
पै 'कृपालु' बिनु हरिहिँ मिलइ गुरु, जय सद्गुरु सरकार॥

बिनु अष्टांग योग साधे ही, चित्त प्रेम रस पाग्यो।  
छुटत न कोटि मुक्ति सुख पाये, जेहि मुख यह रस लाग्यो।  
भयो 'कृपालु' धनी सब दिन को, मिल्यो रतन मुहँ माँग्यो॥
